Ultra-fine spherical particles of nano scale, typically in diameters less than 1um. Nanospheres are often used in medical technology and biotechnology applications as well as in composites as a filler or an anti-wetting agent.
-
Spherical particles in diameters less than 10 micron are supplied in dry powder form and are color-stable in solution. Small fluorescent microspheres have numerous applications in biotechnology, medical research, medical devices, diagnostics, process troubleshooting and other fields of study.
-
The tighter the particle size requirements, the more monodisperse the distribution, the smaller the tolerances, the more precise the microspheres, which also typically makes them more expensive. If the particle size distribution is wider, and the tolerances are larger, the diameter of each microsphere might fall into a larger range, which makes the product more economical.
-
Highly spherical particles in sizes between 1mm and 13mm. Custom colors and sizes are available by request. Large, highly-spherical and colorful particles are a useful tool as reference particles in simulation experiments and are successfully used in vision systems and fluidized bed applications.
