Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) Coated Hollow Glass Microspheres (Photocatalytic)

Titanium Dioxide, also known as TiO2 or titania, offers unique functionality depending the form of the material. In the anatase form, titania exhibits photocatalytic activity under ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. In the rutile form, titanium dioxide demonstrates exceptional light scattering properties for flow visualization and particle image velocimetry applications.

Isospheres are hollow glass microspheres coated with rutile titanium dioxide (TiO2) and are designed to be high quality seeding material with excellent light scattering properties for high temperature applications in the experimental fluid dynamics and particle image velocimetry (PIV) industry. Isospheres are hydrophillic enabling them to be used without surfactant.

Photospheres are hollow glass microspheres coated with anatase photocatalytic titanium dioxide (TiO2) to provide a high temperature, buoyant, filterable, and reusable alternative to solid TiO2 nanoparticles. This product line was specifically designed for photocatalytic water treatment.
