Bright fluorescent red microspheres are supplied in dry powder form. Fluorescent particles of known density and particle diameter range are often used in density-matching for flow visualization and analysis of fluid flow in a device. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution.

Density Specification: +/-0.005g/cc

Spherical Particles: >90%

Daylight Color: Fluorescent Red (607nm Peak)
Fluorescent Response: Fluorescent Red under 300-550nm wavelengths. Works well with Green Lasers. Peak emission of 607nm when excited at 575nm.

Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.
