Bright fluorescent green microspheres are supplied in dry powder form and specifically designed with density of 1.1g/cc which is ideal for simulating pollen dispersion. Controlled particle size ranges enable investigation of maximum particle size passing through the openings, filters and membranes. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution.
Daylight Color: Fluorescent Green
Fluorescent Response: Peak emission of 515nm when excited at 414nm
Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.
