Material Safety Data Sheet - Polyethylene
Spheres, Beads, Microspheres, and Nanospheres
Under regular daylight conditions these color-changing polyethylene microspheres appear fluorescent yellow. However, when illuminated by 365nm UV light they exhibit a strong blue-green fluorescent response. This feature is very useful in process diagnostics and troubleshooting, process flow, medical research and other industries.
The spheres are supplied in dry powder form. Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and need to be coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend Tween 80 Bio-compatible Surfactant.
